My name is Jocelyn Collins-Arrington,
I was born and raised in Tacoma, Wa a little over an hour from Seattle! I met my Wonderful and Supportive husband in Washington where he was stationed at Ft Lewis, Wa. we were just teenagers. We married and had four children. Our kids are now grown and we have 10 Amazing grandkids. I developed a passion for Interior Decorating at a very young age. I actually believe it was born in me. I was the daughter, sister, friend and niece that people would call on to help them decorate. It was an absolute pleasure to do so. I never charged anyone to decorate their homes or decorate special events it was just what I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed doing.

I was encouraged by my family and friends to open my own decorating business and get paid for my Passion! I finally agreed and I came up with the name elegantdezignsbyj. I'm a firm
believer you can have Quality Elegant Decor and Furniture and not spend a fortune. I treat all my clients the way I would want someone to treat me. I'm Fair, Honest and very affordable. I hear a lot of people make statements saying interior decorating cost too much. I totally disagree.
